NEWS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department would like to remind the public that we are following social distancing guidelines enacted by federal, state and local governments to help curb the spread of the COVID19 virus. We have placed signs on all fire station doors asking the public to utilize contact information provided on those signs to get any questions answered.

The County Office of Emergency Management has opened their call center to help the public get information regarding public health and medical needs. That number is 1-833-688-5551.

We would like to remind the public that we are fully staffed and committed to serving the community by responding to all hazards that the community faces. As always, if your needs involve an emergency, please call 911 and the closest engine company will respond to your location.
