The utility is the jack-of-all-trades vehicle. It is a heavy duty Ford F-250 4 x 4 pick-up (with some having a quad cab and others with a standard cab) It serves as a light patrol, scout and reconnaissance, errand, crew and equipment transport.

It has a metal toolbox fitted in the bed of the truck. Inside the box are tools, vegetation firefighting equipment, dehydration aids, jumper cables, ropes, and a multi-purpose fire extinguisher.
