SBC’s patrol is at Station 15 in Mission Canyon. It is not normally staffed, however a member of the engine company can respond if it is needed on a call. It is also used as a scout during high fire season.

With the hiking trails nearby that draw people into the foothills, it is used frequently for various emergencies and search & rescue. It has generous clearance and 4 x 4 capability, a 250 gallon water tank and carries various vegetation firefighting and evacuation tools to bring injured patients safely down.

It is additionally used as part of the vegetation maintenance & and clearance operations that occur during the year.
