Below is our online address application to be used only if your project will not go through the SBCFD Fire Protection Certificate (FPC) permit process.
If you are currently in the Building Permit process and your project will require Fire Department review through our FPC permit process, you do not need to fill out an application. As part of the Fire Department review, the assigned plans reviewer, will determine the need for an address. An address will be assigned and issued for the project.
To submit your project for review with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, Planning and Engineering Section, submit digital copies of all documents via email at [email protected]. Include your project’s permit information, issued by the Planning and Development Department and/or Building and Safety Division with jurisdiction over your project. Plan review services are classified by the scope of work listed below, which in turn will determine the estimated review time needed for your project. The indicated time frames are based on business days.
